IMX512 Flash

Hi ,

I am trying to flash my MCIMX512CJM6C in advanced toolkit through usb port in mode HAB

But i am getting an error "No usb detected"

I have made usb type a connection as below

• USB Pin 1- USB_OTG_VBUS
• USB Pin 2-USB_OTG_D_N
• USB Pin 3-USB_OTG_D_P
• USB Pin 4-GND

but IMX512 is detecting in my pc in device manager it listing as SE Blank Elvis

is there any driver needs to be installed to detect imx512?

Please help me out to detect my imx512 to flash

i could make it work with windows XP but its doesnot work with windows 7

one can check usb recommendations in Chapter 22 Porting USB Host1 and USB OTG
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/MX53UG.pdf

Try with i.MX53 QSB board or with mfg tool on

i.MX537 Processors|HD Video|NXP

I have access to only 

• USB_OTG_VBUS
• USB_OTG_D_N
• USB_OTG_D_P
• USB_OTG_ID
• GND

it should work with that configuration. Also one can connect through usb hub.

the above connection is enough? in that case why in device manager it listing as SE Blank Elvis

• USB_OTG_ID require any connection ?

"SE Blank Elvis" is message provided by ROM,

in general you can ignore it. No need to install additional drivers.
