How to modify code and then build image?

Hi,all:
     I am a new user for iMX6ULEVK,I knew using bitbake to build image now and build successfully,but I don't kown how and where modify the source code.For exmple,I want to run a HelloWorld in the broad.Where to edit the code? And how to build this image after modification? Is there any document including those?
