How to do display customer LOGO in VGA display ( imx6q Yocto2.1)?

Hi NXP Team

OS : Yocto 2.1   Board : imx6q sabresd

Our Customer need to add customer logo in Kernel.

And Display is VGA Port.

How to do display customer LOGO in VGA display in imx6q Yocto2.1?

Hi joanxie,

U-Boot build errors occur after I use "L4.1.15_GA1.2.0_uboot_logo_keep_patch_2017-01-06.zip".

It is important to note that our customer version is 4.1.15_2.0.0.

Do you have any suggestion about this issue ?

You can refer to the attachment for error logs.

I didn't find 'config_ipu_di_clk' in the uboot source code, this should be the bsp source code difference, you need change it according to the error message, this should debug by yourself, you can compare the uboot source code between these two versions

Our platfrom OS is Yocto 2.1_ 4.1.15_2.0.0.

The uboot version is different with your patch version.

Your patch file version is nxp/imx_v2015.04_4.1.15_1.0.0_ga.

We try the NXP demo board source code version  (nxp/imx_v2016.03_4.1.15_2.0.0_ga in github).

The uboot version is different with  v2015 and v2016 .

We get some error message.  (It's can not patch success.)

Do you have any advice?

the patch is just for reference, if your version isn't the same one, you need refer to the patch, then modify the source code by yourself according to the patch
