How to Use Proxy to Access Network in Android JB

Hi Sir,

My customers would test proxy setting , but it failed. Could you help to advise how to test proxy?

Our test sop is as below. We setup Proxy Server on notebook via CCProxy.

sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db "INSERT INTO system VALUES(99,'http_proxy','192.168.0.173:808')"

It could not access external website.

I found some community page have explained this feature , and it support android version only have Gingerbread & ICE not jb.

Are you using our BSP and the sabre board?. Is there a specific reason to use JB and not KK?
