Try to download full image to internal emmc by uuu.

It looks like as uuu -v -V uuu.auto-imx8mpevk would do the job.

It starts and I get some info in windows console and in device console, but than it stucks at fastboot. Something I do wrong?

Attached the logs.

The expected result would be to boot in internal emmc same as it would from sdcard.

Knowing it should work I checked that all again. Your log doesn't provide much information. But looking to mines - I miss the imx8mp there.

So the reason simply was an old outdated "uuu". With a new one it runs without a problem.

Dear Arno Steffens,

Could you please share me the link where you downloaded the image?

Best regards.

From here:
https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/i-mx-software/embedded-linux-for-i-mx-applicat...

The image of the rootfs is rather huge, 5...9GB. Does I just need to wait a long time? But I can't see any progress even with -v parameter.

What does this fastboot mean? I see the board booting into uboot at least. But how to go on from there?

Dear Arno Steffens,

Yes. it is necessary to wait that time.

The recommended parameter is -b, please try with the parameter -b

uuu -b uuu.auto-imx8mpevk

It should work fine; it takes around 2 minutes to flash the board.

Best regards.

I tried the solution, but flashing with UUU was still unsuccessful. I used VirtualBox to run my terminal and setup NXP OTG USB with USB2.0 controller in VirtualBox. I suspect the problem in my case was caused by losing the connection with NXP OTG after "Run Fast Boot" started. Can you help me to resolve the issue? Thanks.

Hi @KLuis ,

I had the same problem with my locally built image for the nxp evk. After I reconnected the serial usb connection to my VM again while keeping the uuu console uninterrupted , the flashing of the image restarted automatically. And l could boot into the image. I was wondering if you figured out the problem.
