Firmware Compatible between iMX8M Nano & Mini

Hello,

I want to confirm one thing in the form of compatibility.

Is imx8mnevk Build Yocto images and Test applications compatible with imx8mmevk?

are they both firmware compatible? can i use Bootloader, kernel and filesystem of imx8m nano for the  development of the imx8m mini?

Please Provide me your input for the same.

Hello milav,

Yes, they are compatible from the bootloader and kernel, but you don´t have all the features as example for MX8MMini you have another cortex M4 and for MX8MNano you have the M7, now the feature of graphics you have in MX8MMini OpenGL 2.0 while in MX8MNano you have openGL 3.1 and openCL 1.2.
