In our custom board we use FXOS8700. When I start driver from fsl-arm-yocto-bsp (kernel 4.9.11), I see that it creates only one input device and event from accelerometer and magnetometer are emitting from one source, so I can't use acc and mag devices simultaneously.
I modifyed fxos8700 driver to create two input devices - separately for acc and mag. I think it will be useful to share this patch :smileyhappy:.
