Error building the XIP image

Hi,

I have a very resource constraint application which uses a custom iMX6 board.

I am using the parallel NOR flash for booting the kernel.

I tried using the XIP image for executing the Kernel directly form the NOR.

However it has the !ZBOOT_ROM constraint which i am not able to find anywhere in the boot option sin LTIB.

i am using the L3.0.35_4.1.0 kernel version by the way.

According the the help i need to manually provide the BSS and the text addresses of the image to be loaded in the kernel.

Can anyone tell me what is the default place in the NOR where the BSS and the text sections of the UImage are loaded?

regards,

nishad

Hello,

Hardly our Linux kernel can be built to work directly from NOR without DRAM memory.
We do not have such experience.

Have a great day,
Yuri
