Hi Freescale team,

I have to implement the support for CAAM module in linux kernel for Imx6 board to do the authentication of uImage. When I checked the kernel source code(linux-3.0.35) , I found some RNG self tests feature for CAAM hardware . How can we test this ?. Can anyone suggest what all things I have to take into account while doing this for both kernel and u-boot source.

Thanks in advance for your support .

hello Yuri,

I am using HAB  in imx6 with the secure hardwares like CAAM and SNVS. As a part of that in u-boot,we have to create  hab_caam_clock_enable and  hab_caam_clock_disable to make  secure hardwares to work.(I think its only for u-boot.

Kernel also has CAAM driver .My question is  what  is the purpose of this CAAM hardware and how will we check its working?
