Does Serial Nor Flash in IMX6 Quad support XIP (eXecute In Place)?

Hi All,

I am now using IMX6 Quad board with a 4M Serial Nor Flash.

I knew that Parallel Nor Flash can support XIP.

Do you know whether or not Serial Nor Flash in IMX6 Quad can cupport XIP?

xip from i.MX6 ECSPI interface is not supported.

IMX6 Quad board cannot do that.

QSPI can do that.If you want to do XIP on a serial nor flash please use i.MX6SoloX. 

i.MX6 SoloX M4 Demo image is running on the QSPI.
