Hi NXP,

The latest release V3.31 of the DDR Tool has no support of the i.MX95. Is Will this tool include the support of iMX95 in the future?

Thanks.

Hi @simonng

Ours is not quite the same. You can try delete the  MIMX95 package in "C:\ProgramData\NXP\mcu_data_v16\processors" directory. And reboot the Config Tool, run the test again.

Hi @pengyong_zhang ,

I can now run the DDR test with V16.1. Thanks a lot for your help.

Another issue about the DDR data rate setting, there are 4 settings (3200Mbps, 4267Mbps, 4800Mbps and 6400Mbps). Could you give me advice on how to test different frequency other than those 4 templates?

For iMX 8M family, NXP provides the RPA spreadsheet that allow us to update the configurations. Will NXP release it for the iMX95?

Thanks.

HI @simonng

Have you change anything in the DDR Configuration page? You are use our NXP i.MX95 board, right?

And please refer the attachment file.

Hi @pengyong_zhang ,

I didn't change the LPDDR5 configuration. I am using the NXP IMX95LPDDR5BB-19 EVK board.

I tried to load your ds file but still the same error. Could you help to check my board configuration?

hi @simonng

Please do not use the old version configuration to the latest version.

Are you sure your Config Tool version is V16.1? Because my v16.1 is different with your ConfigTool_v16_Error.png. Please double check it.

And i run the DDR test on my i.XM95 board, there is no issue occurred.

Hi @pengyong_zhang ,

I re-installed V16.1. The error is the same. Please see the attached.

Could you share your config file (.mex) to me?

Thanks.

Hi @pengyong_zhang ,

Thanks for your reply. I understand that the Config Tool can support i.MX95.

I can use the REV 15.1 to run the DDR Test on the MX95 EVK board.

But I found problem when using the latest REV 16.1. I tried to load the configuration that I used in REV 15.1. Also, I tried to create new project in REV 16.1. Neither one can work.

I attached the error screenshot.

By the way, I want to know if NXP is going to add the support of i.MX95 to the DDR Tool.

Thanks for your help.
