Configuring SD card on SPI

Hi Everyone,

We are planning to create a custom i.mx6 board with SD card on SPI. We will be using Android 6 as the Operating system.This SD card will not be used for booting but just for external memory.

Is this  possible? Also what would be the maximum capacity of the SD Card it would support.

If this is possible  then do we have device tree configuration for this.

seems SD card on SPI is not supported as shown on below part of document
