Calling External exe and functions

Hi,

Can we call some external executable from Inflexion UI.

Say I want to call an executable created in QT when I  click a button from Inflexion UI.

Can we call functions also fro Inflexion UI?

Is there any document/url/pdf available apart from the workshops available i=on mentor graphics website.

Hi Hitesh,

I have attached a workshop that in it's final part contains a sample functional link (dial://). It does not actually launch a second executable but it does details how to configure and use one within Inflexion to allow a user UI interaction to call a unique software function within your module, from which you can execute any native code (such as lunching another app).

Yep - you can. To achieve this you have to make use of Inflexion functional links.
