Building the image

Hello,

I am working with i.mx28. I am trying to build a kernel with a new

configuration, so, following your step by step guide I saw that the resulting

file is not complete.

The point is, that after I build with ./ltib command, I expect to have a big

rootfs.ext2 as image, but I only have a 11Mbit file. When I use CF Imager

to set up my SD and I use it on the i.mx28, the error: Kernel panic appear.

Please look at my comments below.

1.
Default build configuration is minimal, so the rootfs is not big.

Please select  LTIB configuration as FSL_gnome, for example.

2.

Please try the mfg tool to deploy the image to Your board.

3.
If Your board and i.MX28 EVK differ - it may cause kernel panic.

Have a great day,
Yuri
