Hello,  I have friends in China who are asking if it is possible to leverage an alternative to the command?...

curl http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo > ~/bin/repo

...which is described in fsl-yocto-L4.1.15_2.0.0-ga revision documentation set, within document 'i.MX_Yocto_Project_User's_Guide.pdf', sub-section 3.2 ('Setting up the repo utility').

They are concerned firewalls in China may be blocking them from successfully leveraging this command.

For developers who are blocked from leveraging this command due to firewalls blocking certain sites, does NXP have an alternative procedure that can be proposed?

Thanks much in advance!
