About g2d_blit error in i.MX6DQ.

Dear All,

We face to the g2d_blit issue while playing jpeg file.

[Issue]

Can't playing the specific jpeg content.

[Overview]

BSP: Linux L3.14.28_1.0.0

Gstreamer version: 1.2.3-r0

Board: Custom board

Serial Error log: g2d_blit_2d: fail with status -20

Gstreamer command:

$ gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=sample.jpg ! jpegdec ! videoconvert ! imagefreeze ! imxg2dvideosink

[Questions]

Q1: Could you provide the fixed GPU library?

Q2: What is meaning of the error message "g2d_blit_2d: fail with status -20"?

Hi Keita,

There is no offiicial gpu update for 3.14.28, I strongly suggest to move 3.14.52 with major GPU and g2d bug fixes, please check it:

fsl-arm-yocto-bsp.git - Freescale i.MX Yocto Project manifests 

in case of error -20 it means gcvSTATUS_NOT_ALIGNED could be due to you are using a jpg image on imxg2dvideosink. please check it: https://community.nxp.com/thread/394565
