We are looking to use a 1Gbx32 micron part (MT53D1024M32D4DT-046 WT:D) with an iMX8MM.

As a trial we have swapped the LPDDR4 on an EVK SOM.

Is there a specific configuration file we would need in order to run the DDR tool (v310) to generate timing data and perform a stress test? Or can we use the mx8mm_micron_lpddr4_2gb_2d_1500m_200m_50m_32bit_1cs_RPAv15.ds file and just set the density to 4GB?

Cheers,

Richard

Hi @richardmarsh,

For new memory part it is necessary to use RPA tool ( MX8M_Mini_LPDDR4_RPA_v16.xlsx ) available on:

https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors-Knowledge-Base/i-MX-8M-Family-DDR-Tool-Release/ta-p/110...

Also as you can see is a newer version so I recommend to update to this one.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,

Israel H.
