Hi All,

I have only 2GB RAM in my IMX8QM Custom Board (IMX8QM MEK have 6GB RAM).
But, my system image size is morethan 1GB. I want to know, is it enough for booting Android 9.

Memory configuration in uboot,
  1. sdram 1 size - 1GB
  2. sdram 2 size - 1GB
  3, Number of Banks - 8

with this configuration I got iomap kernel hang.

I need some work around for 2GB RAM.

Regards,

I think you need to create very basic computer concept.

The image size is not the size for the memory.

How many memory size needed depends on the use case. How many applications will be used.

The system image is rootfs. will not be entirely load to the memory.

It likes you have 2T hard disk for your x86/x64 compute and you have 32G memory.

and your concept is if I want to use this 2T disk computer, I need 2T memory as well.
