sniff mode

Our customer, SONY is asking whether MKW30 or MKW40 has implemented sniff mode or not.

Do you plan to implement this mode?

If yes, when will FSL release it ? 

If no, would you tell us the reason? Because we need to tell it to them.

  *H/W does not implement this mode. etc..

Hello Koichi-san,

According to MKW3x/4x reference manual, the sniff mode is not currently supported by the hardware. The SNF_EN bit from the sniff control register has no effect.

But if your question is about having a BLE/IEEE 802.15.4 sniffer using KW3x/4x the answer is yes, we will have. The planned date is end of Q3 - beginning of Q4 2015.
