Does anyone know if the USB-KW41Z + Kinetis Protocol Analyzer Adapter is capable of sniffing BLE 4.2 packets that use data length extension, i.e. with MTU > 27 ?
I'm struggling to find any documentation to indicate if it's supported by the sniffer + adapter, I am already aware that the MKW41Z BLE Software has supported Data Length Extension since v1.2.0, but I don't think that guarantees that the sniffer firmware and adapter do.
Thanks,
Phil

Hello,
Sorry for the late response, indeed the sniffer firmware is capable of support the length of BLE 4.2. When I start sniffing an application after the connection has been made there is a request and response where they stablish their MTU size.

Thanks Estephania,
That's encouraging, though at the moment I'm not even able to sniff BLE 4.1 connections with the dongle, probably something I'm doing wrong (see my other question for details).
It would be great if I could get this working the way you have shown!
Regards,
Phil.
