QN9080SIP BLE Address and Royalties

I am starting a project based on QN9080SIP.

I am afraid about two topics:

- the QN9080SIP module comes with programmed unique BLE MAC address?

- what about BLE royalties? Should they be paid or are they included in QN9080SIP cost?

For the BLE royalties, you need to check the Bluetooth SIG product qualification & listing procedures.

NXP has done most part of BLE testings when qualify QN9080. But the final product based on QN9080 should be still qualified once, under the vendor company of the end product.

Hi,

Every board has different MAC address. It won't be repeated. You needn't pay for it.
