A record 21 teams from Germany, UK and Spain were on the start line at the Freescale Cup Qualification event hosted by the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. Students were challenged during training time with lots of sunshine light but as the day went on, the light conditions improved for an even track light. Under cloudy skies, the 1st Freescale Cup Challenge for North Africa was held today at the University of Mundiapolis (Casablanca, Morocco). Students from Tunisia and Morocco came to get their 1st taste of this global competition. With a very energy-contagious and great camaraderie, students from ENSEM Casablanca, EHTP Casablanca, Mundiapolis Casablanca, ISSAT Sousse and ENIS Sfax have been challenged with the Freescale Cup competition track. I am happy to report that team EHTP Casablanca has qualified and will join us in Germany for the EMEA Finals.

We had participated in The Freescale Cup Worldwide Finals 2013 in HIT (Harbin Institute of Technology) and The Freescale Cup Worldwide Finals Seoul 2014 in Hanyang University. It is with great pleasure that I can confirm the Kick Off of the NXP Cup 2018 EMEA.   Registrations are open until 30-November-2017 on the NXP Cup EMEA 2018 Registration Site   All the information for rules, participation conditions and sponsors support can be found on theNXP Community. The trailer video for the NXP Cup 2018 season can be downloaded here. Promotion poster is attached to this email, feel free to print and post in your campus   Please note that the instructions for purchasing of the NXP Cup car kit is also listed on that page. As there is limited availability for the NXP Cup car kit, we ask that you make the greatest effort in reusing the kits that you might already have in your campuses.   We are preparing a very exciting season with great locations for qualifications and EMEA finals!! It will be exciting for the students AND for the professors…. Don’t miss it.   Let us know if you have any questions or if you need help with recruiting participants in your campus.
