Debugging u-boot from DDR T2081 processor

Hi Nxp Team,

We have successfully built U-Boot for the NOR flash on the T2081 processor and have reached the U-Boot prompt. However, our Ethernet is currently not operational, making it challenging to perform further debugging.

To facilitate our debugging process, we would like to compile U-Boot to run from DDR, as we can load files into DDR via USB.

Could you please advise on the appropriate compilation options to enable this configuration?

We require this change because burning U-Boot into NOR via CodeWarrior is taking a significant amount of time. Loading U-Boot into DDR would provide us with a faster turnaround time for our development process.

The available procedure is  "RAMboot process using CodeWarrior"

Please check chapter 6 U-Boot RAMboot in T1040D4RDB (It can also be used on boards that do not support SD/eMMC) in the attached guide.
