Licensing error:-18,147

Hello,

We've recently bought a floating license for CodeWarrior 5.2 for HC12 (Basic edition) I now I have troubles making it work.

I have followed the installation guide and set up FlexLM software on our development server. I've also put license.dat in the CodeWarrior installation folder. However I get the following error:

No valid license key was found for this installation of CodeWarrior Development Studio. Please register your product by following the instructions on the registration card or by contacting license@freescale.com.
License server system does not support this feature.

I've searched through older posts dealing with the same issue and it looks like sometimes the solution is to change to a fixed, non-floating license. If that's the fastest way to get things functioning, I would like to do that. Otherwise, I need some directions about how to fix this.

I don't think I have anything of these installed. What I did, I've downloaded the CodeWarrior setup program from the link provided on the page, listing what I've purchased, installed the IDE and then followed the license setup manual.

I don't see how these steps could lead to installing some unsupported features. There must be something else...

Error 

-18 License server system does not support this feature.

The error refers the version on your license file is not the proper one, what actions is the one you need to do, im guessing the error might be appearing because basic features do not support an specific actions. 

Here some limits on the basic suite 

C compiler and C source-level debugger code and data size restricted to 64 KB
