Hi, I'm using software Freescale CodeWarrior 7.1 with a floating licence installed on a local licence server. I need to emulate my code at customer office... So, there is it a way to access this floating licence from my customer office through VPN? We tried it and it doesn't seem to work, there is it a particular setting that should be done?

Thanks in advance for your support,

Francis

Yes it is possible as long as you have access to server.

if there is any TCP/IP port closed make sure 27000-27009 range is open since these are the default range used.

You can also specify this on the license file

SERVER servname 00145MACETHC9A [portnumber]
USE_SERVER
DAEMON metrowks
