I've installed CodeWarrior for Advanced Packet Processing Evaluation 10.4.0 (linux version). During installation process (just running setuplinux.sh) there was a message, there will be generated 15-days trial license. As I guess, there should be Common/license.dat file after installation, but there isn't. Finally I can't build any software for AIOP@LS1088 because of "no license" error. What can I do to generate that trial license or build and test software for AIOP in any other way?

Hello Marek,

You can follow these steps to generate the eval license directly from your account on our website:

  1. Log in to www.nxp.com using your email and password.
  2. Click on My NXP >> My Account >> Software Licensing and Support >> View Accounts.
  3. Your Product Information page will appear. Select the suite from which you need a license. In your case, select "CodeWarrior Development Suite Specialist Networked Evaluation".
  4. A second Product Information page will appear. Select the product (version) for which you need a license.
  5. Read and accept the Software Terms and Conditions.
  6. Click on the License Keys tab.
  7. Check the license files available and click the "Generate" button to assign the host information.
  8. Complete the license host information fields and click the Generate button again.
  9. The View Licenses page will appear with the content of your license.
  10. Click the "Save All" button and save the license file as "license.dat" into the appropriate location.

As you have an evaluation, you can extended up to two times when expires. The process can be found as well in our Licensing and Registration FAQ under "How to extend my evaluation?"

Have a great day,
Paulina Lozano
