I need to connect MPX5500 to PIC18F MCU so MCU has itself comparator or I can use separate op amp

What is the most suitable way to connect MPX5500 to MCU

Please help

Hi,

The MPX5500 is an integrated pressure sensor which means that the sensor is already Temperature Compensated, Calibrated and amplified internally, so the output of the sensor will be from 0 to 5.0V depending on the pressure applied.

The hardware needed to connect it to a MCU is minimal, you can find the recommended connection on Figure 4 of the datasheet: http://cache.freescale.com/files/sensors/doc/data_sheet/MPX5500.pdf
