Sensor Toolbox

Hello All,

I have only played around with the functions on the sensor toolbox a little, but is there a way to record the magnetic readings with the program?

Could you please specify which evaluation board and Sensor Toolbox version you are using?

I am using a LFSTBUSB interface board with the Sensor Toolbox v4.2.1.20.​ I purchased the RD4247MAG3110 magnetic sensor kit, and I am looking to record some of the magnetic readings using the sensor toolbox. If that is possible.

Hi Sam,

If you are using the RD4247MAG3110 kit, please download and install the E-Compass Sensor Toolbox v6.1.0.1. Then you can start data recording by pressing the Start button in the Data Log frame of the GUI. For more information please refer to Chapter 9 of the E-Compass Sensor Toolbox User Guide.

It is also possible to collect raw data from generic terminal program such as RealTerm using the commands described in the attached document.
