SE050 memory writes, wear leveling?

Per the datasheet, the SE050 memory reliability is "100 Mio write cycles/25 years".

What does "Mio" mean?  Is this short for Million?

Also, does the se050 implement any kind of wear leveling?

Thanks,

Dean

Hi @deang ,

Yes, it is short for Million, and  SE05x implements automatic wear leveling. This is why in the datasheet we only specify one global write endurance, as we are spreading writes automatically over the whole flash of the SE.

Hope that makes sense,

Have a great day,
Kan
