Hi

Re OM-SE05xARD hardware overview (nxp.com) section 4.4

Could you please confirm what does "reset" mean? Does it erase any keys inside SE050?

In configuration with Raspberry Pi - which pins I need to close on J12 to trigger reset - it is not clear from that document.

Thank you.

Hi @psvz ,

No, it doesn't erase any key in the SE050, this signal routes to the reset pin of ISO7816 interface, which is pin 14 of SE050. To connect OM-SE050ARD-E with a Raspberry Pi board, it would be much easier with a  OM-SE05xRPI board, or via wires as mentioned in https://www.nxp.com.cn/docs/en/application-note/AN12570.pdf . Please kindly refer to "2.1.2.1 Using the OM-SE05xRPI adapter board" or "2.1.2.2 Connecting the OM-SE05xARD with wires" for details.

Hope that helps,

Have a great day,
Kan
