The S32K1xxSM_Rev6.pdf depicts at page 72 an internal signal path from FTM out (eg. PWM) to FTM in.

Could the author explain how this is practically achieved? I could not find this path in the reference manual.

Hi Mattia,

This will be available in SM version 7.1. It was a mistake in SM version 7.0 which is being corrected.

Please allow couple of days before SM version 7.1 is uploaded.

Hello NaveenM,

thanks for the info.

In actual revision of SM ("S32K1XXSM_Rev7.pdf"), the procedure "Single Write PWM Output with external read-back" has been removed from par. 5.7.2.2.1.1.

Why?

Since the internal read back is impossible, we need an alternative to check a PWM output.

Regards,

Mattia.

Hi Adrian, Mattia

Thanks for pointing out. This is a known issue with S32K1xx Safety Manual and actions are being initiated to address it.

In fact the internal read-back path DOES NOT exists in FTM. With the next release of SM (due in couple of days), it will be corrected.

Hope it helps.

Hello,

we have the same issue:

  • how is the internal signal path achieved?
  • how is the "Single Write PWM Output with internal read-back" of pag.71 practically implemented?

We are using the P/N FS32K148UJT0VMHR.

Thanks,

Mattia.
