AES EVICTION TIME

The following is an assumption requirement from safety manual 6.0 for 32k388.

for e), the application shall trigger timer or is there any dedicated timer for AES eviction?

The timer is built into the AES. In this context it is assumed for a failure mode that would result in an unacceptable delay. It may be use for security measure too, but I am not a security expert. You can probably check with security team and within security reference manual.

Also with the keyword "Eviction" , no word in the latest reference manual [S32K3XXRM_rev 8.pdf].

I apologize for the delay on this.  This mention of the eviction timer needs to be removed from the S32K3 Safety Manual.  It is not part of the AES IP on the S32K3.

Additional question: What is the background of the eviction time to be considered? For which attack, the eviction timer is considered?
