I use s32ds3.5 and RTD3.0.0 on my end. The chip is s32k312. Recently, the reset time was measured and it was found that the reset time was as long as about 120ms when CORE_CLK was 120M. Is this time normal. If CORE_CLK is 60M, the reset time is about 200ms.

The interval between two high levels of the test pin is about 120ms.

Hi sensen,

Regarding the software reset time you mentioned, it might be due to a long startup time. I suggest testing the time from power-on reset to GPIO toggle. Refer to 6.1.2 Boot time, HSE firmware not installed and 6.1.3 Boot time, HSE firmware installed of S32K3 DataSheet.

Additionally, the Tstart (SXOSC startup time) in the S32K3 DataSheet has a relatively long startup time; you can disable it if you don't need this clock.

Best Regards,
Robin
