S32K148-EVB CAN problem with JTAG port

Hello

CAN0 is used for CAN communication on  S32K148-EVB.

PTE4 that is used for CAN0_RX is also used for TRACE_D1.

So when I used JTAG port to debug, CAN communication is not possible with this EVB.

How can I solve this issue?

Hi ‌,

As you mention in this EVB you can use the trace functionality while using CAN0 with the transiever. The most viable way to use both functionalities could be use an external transciever connnect to other CAN pins.
