S32K1 ISELED R21-11 0.9.0 CD01 example project

Hello,

I'm trying to explore an ILaS example project.

I created a new S32DS project form Example (S32K1 ISELED AUTOSAR R21-11 0.9.0 CD01 D2403 Example Project -> Iseled_FlexIO_example_S32K144_DS)
The newly created project is shown in the project explorer.

When I try to open the Iseled_example_DS.mex file I get an error.

Error during opending configuration Iseled_example_DS.mex:

Processor S32K144, the PlatformSDK_S32K1_S32M24 version is not supported by the current version of the tool.

Am I missing some files which must be installed?

Sorry, I did not find S32K1 ISELED AUTOSAR R21-11 0.9.0 CD01 D2403 on the Automotive SW - ISELED Software page. If it is convenient, please tell me where to download it.

Usually the Release Note will prompt which software it depends on. For example, SW32K1_ISELED_4.4_0.8.0_ReleaseNotes.pdf mentioned: This is the S32K1 ISELED AUTOSAR 4.4 Version 0.8.0 release containing ISELED driver on top of S32K1 RTD AUTOSAR 4.4 Version 1.0.1.
So we need to install S32K1 RTD 1.0.1 in S32DS first. Does the release note of S32K1 ISELED R21-11 0.9.0 CD01 mention which version of S32K1 RTD needs to be installed? Have you completed the installation of this version of S32K1 RTD?

I have downloaded it from the ISELED Software Page

I attached the release notes. The installation instruction mention the following:

SW32K1_ISELED_R21-11_0.9.0_ CD01_D2403_DS_updatesite.zip on top of
SW32K1_S32M24X_RTD_4.4_R21-11_2.0.0_D2308_DS_updatesite.zip

The RTD update site SW32K1_S32M24X_RTD_4.4_R21-
11_2.0.0_D2308_DS_updatesite.zip and SW32K1_ISELED_R21-11_0.9.0_
CD01_D2403_DS_updatesite.zip for S32 Design Studio should be installed by using the
Help -> Install New Software mechanism.

I can not find SW32K1_S32M24X_RTD_4.4_R21-11_2.0.0_D2308_DS_updatesite.zip. Where can I download this package?

Thanks for the package.
I tried to delete the example projects and create them again.

I tried the ISELED examples within in the AUTOSAR folder and the folder below.

Unfortunately I'm getting the same error after trying to open the .mex file for each example project.

Still the same error as before.

How can I solve this?

Error during opending configuration Iseled_example_DS.mex: Processor S32K144, the PlatformSDK_S32K1_S32M24 version is not supported by the current version of the tool. This type of error is usually caused by not installing the S32DS Update mentioned in the S32K RTD release note.

Did you install S32K1 RTD by follow Offline Package Installation Setup of S32DS Extensions & Updates: Explanation and How To Use ?

According to the chapter '1.2.2 Delivered as an extension for S32 Design Studio' of SW32K1_S32M24x_RTD_4.4_R21-11_2.0.0_D2308_ReleaseNotes.pdf: You need to install "S32DS 3.5 Update 4 for S32K1", that is, step 2. Install Update 4 for S32DS: com.nxp.s32ds.update_3.5.4.20230707034206.zip

Is it strange that the Offline Package Installation method does not automatically install "S32DS 3.5 Update 4 for S32K1" for your S32DS?
Then I'm afraid you need to install it manually, please download S32 Design Studio 3.5 Update 4 D2307 from the S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform web page and install it offline.

It is not possible to install update 4, because my current version (update 10) is higher than the one which shall be installed.

Try uninstall Update 10, and then install Update 4.
Help -> Installation Details -> Uninstall... S32 Design Studio and S32 Design Studio Tools.

I have uninstalled S32DS 3.5 and started from scratch.

I executed the following steps:

1. Installed S32DS 3.5
2. Installed S32DS 3.5 Update 4
   
3. Installed S32K1_S32M24X Real Time Drivers AUTOSAR 4.4 & R21-11 Version 2.0.0
4. Installed SW32K1_ISELED_R21-11_0.9.0_ CD01_D2403_DS_updatesite.zip

I still can not open the .mex file

Afterwards I installed update 10 again, but the error stays.

I uninstalled S32DS and reinstalled it this morning. It's strange that the reminder I encountered is different from your error.

Even though S32DS extensions and Updates offline install S32K1S32M24X Real Time Drivers AUTOSAR 4.4&R21-11 Version 2.0.0 and SW32K1-ISELEID-R21-11:0.9.0_ CD01-D2403/DS-updatesite.zip did not automatically install S32DS Update 4 or 10.
Even so, I can still open the. mex file without any errors.

Using the same method, install SW32K1-ISELEID-R21-11:0.9.0_ CD01-D2403/DS updatesite.zip.

thanks for your support.

I have reinstalled everything, step by step. But the error still appeared.

I finally found the issue.

After reinstalling SW32K1_S32M24X_RTD_4.4_R21-11_2.0.0_D2308_DS_Updatesite.zip with the offline package it worked. I assume something went wrong during installation of this package.

Now I can open the .mex files.
