I cannot install S32K3xx Real-time Drivers AUTOSAR R21-11 Version 6.0.0 QLP01

Hi,

I recently have a S32K3X4EVB-T172 with a S32K244 microcontroller on it. I have followed all the instructions from Getting Started with the S32K3X4EVB-T172 Evaluation Board for Automotive General Purpose | NXP Semic... as well as Getting Started with the Real-Time Drivers (RTD) | NXP Semiconductors .

I installed the latest versions of what is currently available as of July 11, 2025. For some reason, I cannot install S32K3xx Real-time Drivers AUTOSAR R21-11 Version 6.0.0 QLP01.

Note: Screenshots are provided to show what software I have installed with my S32 Design Studio 3.6.2.

 

As a follow-up question just in case, if I'm able to install this, will I get the sample projects for the S32K344?

Hi

The S32K3_S32M27x Real-Time Drivers Version 6.0.0 QLP01 is AUTOSAR R21-11 compliant. This release contains Crypto Driver.

Would you please install S32K3_S32M27x Real-Time Drivers ASR R21-11 Version 6.0.0 first? After installation you will get the S32K344 examples.

Hi Robin,

Thank you for the prompt reply. I'm now at the part of trying to debug the Port_Example_S32K344. The code can be compiled clearly but I'm having issues with the PEmicro Connection Assistant. Do you have further suggestions on what I can do?

I saw a previous thread saying something similar: Solved: An error occured while connecting to the interface hardware - NXP Community but I am unaware of any FAB pin.

By the way, did you Connect a micro-USB cable to the J40 connector to debug via the on-board S32K3 debugger?

Hi Robin,

I think my problem is the 12 volt adapter. Initially, I thought that just using the micro-usb for debugging would be enough to power on the board. Thanks again for replying quickly.
