How to do settings to use 2 or more bits in sync break delimiter area?

Hi,

I am working on a project in which we use LIN communication.

While I reduce the voltage from 8.4v I am getting a message like  "RcvError(responses invalid header)"

Ref:-Lin stack issue:incorrect sync delimiter length - NXP Community

so my question is how to change the sync break delimiter area to avoid the error?

Hello @pankajprasad100,

Regarding the delimiter, unfortunately, the driver does not support that.

Anyway, I think this is a HW issue.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I understand that

  • it works at higher LIN voltage level (> 8.4V)
  • and the error is reported by the CANoe tool.

That's why I was asking about the HW that you use to analyze the signal.
What is the min. LIN voltage specification of the HW tool?

Hi @pankajprasad100,

What MCU, LIN transceiver and LIN diagnostic tool do you use?

Thanks,

BR, Daniel

Hi Daniel,

We are using MCU-S32K116,LIN transceiver -NCV7329D10R2G, and we are using S32k design studios LIN stack.(we are using LDF file)

Thanks & Regards

Hi @pankajprasad100,

Thank you,

However, I understand that the error "RcvError(responses invalid header)" is reported by a LIN analyzer.

Is that correct?

If so, what analyzer do you use, and is the LIN signal within the specification of the analyzer?

BR, Daniel

Hi Daniel,

We are using vector CANoe tool to analysis the LIN signals.

Thanks & Regards
