Guidance for Basic PWM Configuration on NXP S32K312

Hello NXP Community,

I'm new to working with the S32K312 microcontroller and I'm trying to generate a basic PWM signal using the eMIOS module. I'm using S32 Design Studio and would appreciate any guidance or example code to get started with PWM generation.

My Setup:

• MCU: S32K312
• Tool: S32 Design Studio
• PWM Module: eMIOS
• Instance/Channel: Any basic example will do.

Questions:

1. Can anyone share a simple code example with configuration or guide to configure and generate a PWM signal on the S32K312 using the eMIOS module?
2. What are the key steps or important parameters to keep in mind while setting up PWM?
3. Are there any existing tutorials or application notes that I can refer to for PWM configuration on this MCU?

Hi,

if you have RTD installed then you can refer to basic PWM example called "Emios_Pwm_Ip_Example_S32K344" using low level driver or Pwm_example_S32K344 using MCAL level driver. And a recommendation is to read eMIOS chapter of the device RM for implementation info, available modes functionality etc.
