Dear Team,

I am using FS32K142UAT0VLFT in my design .

I would like to know whether this controller supports I2C clock stretching or not

Hello Hari,

Yes, it does.

LPI2C in Master mode supports clock stretching by default.

In Slave mode, it is configurable (Slave Configuration Register 1).

Hi Daniel,

Thank you very much for the info.

May I know in general How to check if a microcontroller I2C supports clock stretching or not.

Can I say , if the minimum frequency is 0Hz (and/or there's no maximum time for the low period of the clock), that indicates it is clock stretching compatible.

Regards

Do you mean in Master mode?

If so, refer to this thread:
