Does S32K provide temperature data?

Does the S32K1xx, specifically the S32K148UAT0VLQR, provide any type of temperature data? Perhaps from an internal analog channel or maybe another source?

I thought I remember seeing something of this sort some time ago but I cannot find anything in the reference manual.

Thanks,

Stephan

Hi Victor, could you also share the information on internal temp. measurement with me? Thanks in advance.

I'm just looking for any reference doc that specifies the degrees C / lsb conversion factor for the internal temp reading on S32K1xx

Hi mstroven,
we've previously used the conversion of NXP's application note AN3031, under the assumption that the S32 would follow a similar behaviour. We've only ever used this function for some quick and dirty engineering assessments and have fairly quickly switched to an external temperature sensor. The readings of the internal sensor also showed some glitches, but that might just be due to the fact, that we didn't put much effort into a robust implementation...
Hope this helps

Hi Victor,
although it's already a bit older, I'm hijacking this thread instead of opening a new topic. So far we've already been using the internal temperature sensor of the S32K142 for development purposes. Going forward, we'd also like to use it in a released product. Can you please also provide me this information that's apparently not supposed to be publicly distributed?

Thank you, Matthias

Hello Victor,

for which reason is this information secret?

I am desperately searching on how to read internal ADC like Bandgap and Temperature.

thank you

Paul
