I want to use the pwm of a53, I found that the device tree is as follows configuration 1+2, I try to configure only 1 to achieve PWM. However, the use cases of the device tree are all 1+2, what is the function of the following screenshot 2 configuration?

Is it used to configure the FlexTimer channel as an input. For more information on regards of the different features available under the FlexTimer on regards of inputs, we can recommend looking into the respective S32G Reference Manual into the FlexTimer Chapter.
