S32G3 goldbox M& TCPIP LWIP example does not work

Example:
lwip_FreeRTOS_S32G399A_M7_group lwIP TCP/IP stack
Basic application that presents the lwIP usage with S32G399A RTD

Summary of issue:
The example was built and flashed to QSPI NOR flash using the S32 Flash tool.
But GMAC ping does not work as laptop on the other end never detects the link.
the lights on GMAC are always on which also does not look right.

Need help to be able to test the LWIP demo with FreeRTOS.

I have also tried the baremetal example for LWIP. The ccs: Bus error does not appear but still no ping response. I see that there are some tx interrupts initially for ARP tx, but i dont see any frames on ethernet where I have test laptop doing a tcpdump. The interface on laptop is also configured on the right subnet with sudo addr add 192.168.0.10/24 since lwip example takes 192.168.0.200 IP address. We need to be able to run LWIP stack so that we can develop on top of it. For this we need a working LWIP example for S32G3. We would really appreciate some support here.

According to the corresponding document, it is suggested using the following RTD/FreeRTOS packages listed:

I have the same versions:

When I step over device_init() I also see:

gta is listening on port 45000.

I am stuck on this problem for over a week now. Can you please provide a concrete working example that runs out of the box for S32G3 golbox rdb3?
Or maybe help me debug the problem?

Does this mean it may not work for S32G399A with Goldbox RDB3? In that case, any idea where can i get a working example for LWIP for S32G399A goldbox?
