Hi, I'm doing Frame Preemption with GMAC with the S32G-VNP-RDB3 board, but I succeeded with 1G bps. But I'm going to change it to 10M bps, but I can't, so does the limit have to be 1G bps?

Hello @dongmin,

Thanks for reaching out to us. About your question, the preemption configuration is not exclusively for 1G bps.  I was able to quickly modify the Gmac_Ip_InternalLoopback, to use preemption and 10M bps and it worked. Please share the following information so I can help you more:

  • What do you mean when you say you "can't" configure it for 10M bps?
  • Please describe how you are testing both configuration.
  • Please share on which core you are running your application.
  • Please share your RTD and/or BSP version.

Thanks.

First of all, thank you for your answer. I had two S32G-VNP-RDB3 boards and connected GMAC to each other on a 1:1 link, and then proceeded with frame preemption. Core proceeded with M core. I proceeded without using loopback. At this time, I set the clock and settings like a picture, but I saw a phenomenon where the handshake for frame preemption did not occur at this time, just like tx,rx. I need a solution!
