Working with the S32DS for SS32G2,

In the configuration tool on the top there is variable with drop down selection between VS_0 and VS_Headless

Can anyone explain these meaning of this variable and values please?

Thanks

Hi,

As for the general idea of the Functional Groups, the following information is provided inside the Help Contents of S32DS:

"These groups represent functions which will be generated into source code. Use the dropdown menu to switch between functional groups and configure them."

As for the specific of the headless functional groups, the following is told from the internal team:

"LLCE headless mode also provides a method to load a configuration set on LLCE boot, without host intervention. This removes the dependency on having the host ready and sending the configuration data via the driver. In turn, this reduces LLCE startup time when the host application is slow to start, allowing LLCE to buffer incoming messages which can later be received by the host, or start routing."

Please, let us know.
