S32 Design Studio Installation Issues

Hello Good morning,

My name is Deepak from India. My questions are regarding Configuring IAR 8.22.1 plugins to S32 Design Studio and which is the version need to use for S32K116.

1. I am facing issues in configuring Plugins of IAR to S32 Design Studio. The version I am using is S32 Design Studio for ARM V2018 R1. The issue log I mentioned below.

Operation details:

• Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
  Software being installed: IAR Common Components 2.1.0.201804152231 (com.iar.common.feature.feature.group 2.1.0.201804152231)
• Missing requirement: IAR Common UI Components 1.8.0.201804152231 (com.iar.ide.common.ui 1.8.0.201804152231) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.ui.trace 0.0.0' but it could not be found
• Cannot satisfy dependency:
  From: IAR Common Components 2.1.0.201804152231 (com.iar.common.feature.feature.group 2.1.0.201804152231)
  To: com.iar.ide.common.ui [1.8.0.201804152231]

2. Is the version I am using for S32K116 is correct or Wrong?

Hello Deepak,

It seems the versions of S32DS and IAR are ok.

You should be able to build the project with IAR toochain for S32K116.

But the IAR debug may not support this derivative yet.

Could you possibly check this document: HOWTO: Install IAR Eclipse plug-in into S32 Design Studio for ARM
