Hello everyone. I'm trying to use the latest FreeRTOS extension (SW32K3_FreeRTOS_11.1.0_5.0.0_CD1_D2409_DesignStudio_updatesite.zip) with S32 Design Studio 3.6, but every time that I add it to the source list nothing happens.
With S32 Design Studio I don't have this issue, I can easily import the .zip file and then immediately install the extension. I would use version 3.5 if I could, but for some reason I can only set it up on Windows, on Linux I can't get past the license check.
Given that I have to work on a Linux host and so S32 Design Studio 3.6 is my only available choice, how do I install the FreeRTOS extension?
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Wolver.
Unfortunately, RTDs are not supported on a Linux host. The reason for this is that Linux is a case sensitive operative system which can cause conflicts within some filenames, although RTDs can be used, a proper functionality is not guaranteed.
This same topic is treated in the following post: "S32K3 SDK: Re-Attach RTD-SDK from command line", please let me know if the information is useful and we're sorry for the inconveniences.
