Cannot install Configuration Tools on S32 Design Studio 3.6.0 for Ubuntu

I am unable to install the "S32 Configuration Tools R1.8 NPI data package for S32K3" extension for S32 Design Studio 3.6.0 running on Ubuntu. I receive the error in the attached screenshot. Without the Configuration Tools installed, if I click on anything in the "ConfigTools" menu (E.g., "Pins", "Clocks," "Peripherals"), the IDE crashes from a segmentation fault. Please help me install the Configuration Tools on Ubuntu.

did you installed S32K3xx RTD v5.0.0 ? The Config tool depends on it.

Where can I find "S32K3xx RTD v5.0.0"? I am developing for a S32K344 MCU, and if I look at what's available for the S32k344, the latest RTD is v3.0.0. If I search for S32K3, the latest is 4.0.0_P19 (see screenshot below).

Thank you. I downloaded SW32K3_S32M27x_RTD_R21-11_5.0.0_D2410_DesignStudio_updatesite.zip and in S32 Design Studio, I added that zip file using the "Add Update Sites" option. However, I do not see any extensions show up in the "Available/Update" list. What do I need to do to install this?

I found this post where you informed someone else that

RTD is not supported on Linux - but can be installed as an offline update package. The package can be download as a .zip archive from your NXP Downloads account. 

You can install it via Help -> Install New Software

So I tried this method, and I am greeted with the following error:

sorry, I missed that you are installing it on Ubuntu. Unfortunately RTD is not supported on Ubuntu host.

Thank you for the reply. That's unfortunate news, because S32 Design Studio is practically useless without RTD support. Does NXP have plans to add RTD support on Ubuntu hosts?

yes, there is a plan for full Linux support, but the exact date of release is not known yet.
