Hy,
I use an 9s12DP512 to replace the 256 in a new board...
I have an strange problem with the port K, specially with the PK4 pin:
all the others pin could work in input or output...but when i try to use the PK4 oin in output it don't work...i coud just use it in input....is that normal??? or did i forget something, i haven't found sommething about it in the datasheets...

If somebody know's...
Thanks for your help....

Regards.

Wish.

You've looked at the datasheet for the MC9S12XDP512 (MC9S12XDP512V2.pdf), right? Odd. Looks like Port K could be set to either GPIO or extended bus mode (where PK6:0 are output), according to Chapter 22 in the datasheet, Table 22-1. But input only? Only on PK7, in the extended bus mode. It sounds like something strange might be connected to that pin.

That's right,
I think the same so i've deconnected this pin from the electronics and it's the same problem....i can't use PK4 as an output... the others pin work well. I don't have this problem with the 9s12dp256...i'm transfering an application from one micro to the other...
I'm not working in an special mode, just normal single chip mode....

Thank's for your help
