Current specification of EVDD pin

Hello community,

I am using the EVDD pin of the S12ZVM to provide a 5V supply to an external sensor (Op-Amp). The sensor has a 100n bypass MLCCs in parallel to the supply pins. What is the maximum transient current and the maximum time for the EVDD pin during switch on? The 100n capacitor is being charged during the switch on and the current limit is apparently exceeded for a short period of time. Is it ok to filter the overcurrent protection during this switch on time? In steady state the current consumption is about 3mA.

Thank you.

Hello Florian,

As the Absolute maximum ratings specified, the I_EVDD1 instantaneous current must not exceed 80mA.

Maximum allowed continuous current is 20mA.
