Hello,
I have just started tinkering with a T1040D4-RDB and, seeing that it has a power button (unlike an older P1020RDB which had an 1-0 switch), I wonder how I could turn it on remotely. I can activate and deactivate its power socket remotely (which was enough for turning on, off and resetting the older board), but this alone would not turn the board on.
What is the simplest way of doing this?
EDIT: Having removed the board cover, I noticed jumper pins for PWR (J39) and RST (J38), which are described in T1040D4RDBRM as "remote power/reset switches". A friend of mine (who, unlike me, works with electronics) took a look at some diagrams and thinks we cannot simply insert a jumper on J39, as we must generate a pulse there to turn the board on. Is that right?
Thanks!
Ricardo
